What we do
It’s important to be heard and not just observed!
Prosperity CIO is a mental health and wellbeing charity which works with young people, adults, professionals and the wider community. We support young people and adults to improve their mental health and wellbeing by providing support, advice, education and counselling through the organisation of public workshops, seminars and events.
We empower and educate young people and adults with guidance on physical, emotional and social wellbeing developing knowledge, confidence and skills to look after their own mental health, support others, and create change, so that all can thrive. Each individual will enhance their insight into health literacy and acquire the skills to respond with access to timely, youth-friendly support and resources. We are focused on intervention, prevention, ensuring that more young people and adults learn how to build their own wellbeing toolkit.
We train across the UK to deliver peer support programmes as well as research-driven campaigns and workshops. By working collaboratively across sectors, we share best practice and ensure that the student voice influences decisions about mental health and wellbeing.

FIGHTBACK Fundraiser
Our first fundraising event #FIGHTBACK took place on 4th December 2021 where we supported members of the community with workshops and counselling regarding well-being, plus drug and alcohol abuse. Our aim was to help fight back mental health and it’s stigma! With over 2,000 attendees it was a fantastic event with a great turn out, we also raised a great amount for our charity to help improve the mental health and well-being for young people and adults
Our fight back charity event was set up to help #fightback against mental health and the stigmas attached! The event helped to tremendously raise funds for our charity! All fighters raised funds to support young people and adults with mental health and well-being support! 💪 It was a fantastic turnout and we’re excited for the next event
As a team, we wanted to help fight the stigma on men’s mental health and the perceptions around it! To raise an awareness we set up a MENtalk Wellbeing and Self-care workshop, that covered strategies on managing wellbeing and improving self care with experts to support on sleep, diet, exercise and mental health.
To raise awareness on men’s mental health and the stigma attached to it, we worked with Hitness gym who supported our #mentalk project in promoting physical and mental well-being. This workshop involved calisthenics skills, mixed with lower body and upper body hiit circuit. The turnout was great and we’re looking forward to the next event!
